Mindfulness is a hot topic with lots of talk of this practice in newspapers, magazines, and TV programmes.

It’s hailed as a useful tool for mental health problems and counteracting against a common problem we all face stress.

Mindfulness is a simple practice of being awake to the here and now. As Eckhart Tolle says ‘people don’t realise that now is all there is, there is no past or future except as memory or anticipation in your mind’.

Having spent many years practicing this life skill, the benefits I have experienced have helped with my own anxiety, depression, post-natal depression and auto-immune disease symptoms.

I want to share this practice with as many people as possible and I’m hosting an event on Saturday 5th May with 5 free places. I’m going to go through Mindfulness, what it is and how this can benefit you. We will practice and have some time of stillness for you to be present and release some stress.

This free event is being held at The Nesting Place from 10.30am till 12pm and I’ll be bringing some goodies as well.*
